Check Your Ego: The Consequence of Pride and Stubbornness

Let me tell you what doesn’t work.

Forcing or imposing your will on other people.

From attempting to pick up individuals out of your league to forcing religion on another individual, it doesn’t work. It just doesn’t.

Let’s give a little example, shall we?

Forcing a kid to go to church every single day, involuntarily signing up for things, not letting them speak up and disagree is not the receipe to raising “good religious children”.

They run away from religion all together.

And the parents sit there wondering what went wrong down the line. Lack of understanding and lack of listening to the opinions of others is what brings misunderstanding. Forcing might get a particular thing done short term at the time, but long term it is damaging.

Listen before it is too late.

Stay true,
